The sun beamed down on us as I reunited with my cousin and his beautiful family, filling the front yard with laughter and joyous chaos. Before our delicious dinner in an amazing restaurant we played corn hole tournament, the friendly competition sparking all sorts of playful banter, but my strategy seemed to vanish into thin air as I lost the game with my little cousin Levi. Our giggles only grew louder as we moved on to a paper airplane flying competition, where the planes seemed to soar like they had dreams of their own—just not mine! Yet, amidst all the friendly rivalries and hilarity, I savored the best homemade breakfast scone of my life, fluffy and doused in a sprinkle of love. Each moment was a reminder of how sweet family gatherings can be!
